As we step into the first day of 2026, I’ve been reflecting on 2025 — and our MicroTeLab retreat at Prison Island feels like the perfect snapshot of the year just gone. Teamwork, problem-solving, a bit of chaos, and plenty of laughs.
Beyond the grants and papers, 2025 was really about people and growth. We celebrated some huge milestones:

These achievements are a reminder that behind every success is persistence, resilience, and an incredible team. As the lab navigates a period of change, I’m excited about what 2026 will bring.
