The second half of 2019 has been a really eventful year for our lab. We had a strong contingent at a number of major international major conferences. Our PhD students, Nina Chang and Chak Ming Leung, both had their work selected for oral presentations at TERMIS-AP, Brisbane Australia in Sept. For MicroTAS held in Basel, Switzerland, we had our fellows, Hsih Yin Tan and Chris Tostado both giving outstanding oral presentations while Terry Ching and Chak Ming had the chance to share their work at the poster sessions. Finally, Terry gave an oral presentation about 3D printed vasculatures at ICBME in Dec. It has been a fantastic year for the MicroTE Lab!
20 June 2019 – Yi-Chin was selected as one of the young investigators to give a short talk on our modular microfluidic platforms at the Gordon Research Conference – Physics and Chemistry of Microfluidics in Hong Kong
17 June 2019 – Terry Ching, our PhD student, won the best paper award at the 9thInternational Multidisciplinary Conference on Optofluidics (IMCO) in Hong Kong for his work on “Fabrication of Dynamically Tunable Droplet Microfluidics by Direct Ink Writing (DIW) 3D Printing”
