15 July 2020 – 2020 has been a challenging year for everyone at the MicroTE lab to be dealing with transition to our new home amidst a pandemic. Nonetheless, we still managed to have some fun during our first lab retreat at Kingston Park Raceway. Go-karting is much harder than we thought!
26 July 2019 – Our lab retreat event this year is Tactical Archery Game (TAG)! Think paintball with bows and arrows. Everyone gets a shot at living out his / her fantasy of being Legolas from Lord of the Rings. Kudos to Salt and Light Archery for helping to set up this fun and exciting event at Sports Hall 1, NUS University Town. After 2 hours of running, laughing and lots of jumping jacks, we had a relaxing dinner with pizzas and beers.
Yi-Chin, Louis and Chris successfully completed the SMART Bootcamp held 13-28 May 2019 for our modular microfluidics platform. It was a grueling 2 weeks but we had a lot of fun brainstorming about what we can do with modular microfluidics.
